Catherine Chow is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She has provided lactation support since 2016 and offers care in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Choose Registered Massage Therapy for musculoskeletal care or an IBCLC consultation for feeding and lactation support. Appointments are booked separately.
REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPY
Book RMT for pregnancy and postpartum musculoskeletal concerns, including neck, shoulder, back, rib, hip and pelvic-area tension related to feeding, lifting, carrying and recovery. When a C-section incision is fully closed and healed, care may include gentle scar and surrounding soft-tissue techniques after assessment, explanation and informed consent.
Seek medical assessment first for fever, a wound that is not healed, new or worsening pain, redness, discharge, rapidly worsening breast symptoms, a persistent mass or another concern requiring diagnosis.
IBCLC LACTATION CONSULTATION
Book a separate IBCLC consultation for feeding, latch, positioning, nipple discomfort, pumping technique, flange fit, milk-supply concerns, oversupply, return-to-work planning or an individualized feeding plan.
PARENT-GUIDED INFANT MASSAGE EDUCATION
Caregivers may learn gentle, age-appropriate touch and simple infant massage routines while following the baby’s cues. This is caregiver education. It is not a developmental assessment and does not diagnose or treat colic, reflux, torticollis, feeding difficulties or other medical or developmental conditions.
CONTINUITY AND COLLABORATIVE CARE
During the first six weeks postpartum, Catherine can work alongside your midwife or public health nurse when appropriate and with your consent. She can continue providing RMT or IBCLC care afterward according to your needs and the appropriate professional scope.
